This site offers invitation into ways of being and playing beyond the 3-dimensional world, small cracks in customary reality. These cracks let in light and serve as doorways to the symbolic realm which is our birthright.

Spacious Imagination invites us to actively participate in the unfolding of reality -
to playfully engage the world and participate in the creation of our experience. 

Words, images, bodies, movement, ideas, intuitions and feelings are alive. We live in a flowing process. Our tendency to fix things in our search for security robs us of our aliveness. We have forgotten that our souls are nourished when we participate in our own unfolding in an open-ended way.  And many of us have forgotten how to play.

Symbolic play opens up a space where we actively participate in our own creative living. Playing in spirited, soulful ways enlivens our connectivity to ourselves and one another. We are relational, playful beings who remake each other and ourselves at every encounter. We are not literally "separate," yet we must be willing to show up as open individuals in order to play and connect. How do we hold a balance between our individual experiences and our interconnectivity?
